He, along with government employee, Min-sung, his wife Myeong-hwa, a nurse, tries to keep the group together. While Min-sung tries to protect and help his family some, along with Myeong-hwa’s heals the emotional distress, her wise.
Over time, the number of people seeking help to Myeong-hwa increases which in turn creates distress to the people residing in the building. The people in the building are now left wondering whether they should protect their space or help as many people as they can. While some try to push a share the space agenda, many believe the opposite which creates a psychological conflict.
In the end, the apartment community develops its own customs and framework to regulate the situation. Initially, the system restores order and tranquility, but in the long run it starts to devolve. A number of residents begin to enforce order out of terror instead of equity. Trust erodes, and the previously cohesive collective starts to fracture.
